Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix (2026) Review: A Short, Sharp Finale for Girls Remix

This Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix review covers a short, tokusatsu-style streaming special from Japan. It runs just 32 minutes and closes out the Girls Remix series. Koichi Sakamoto directs, and the film introduces a new female hero.

Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix Review: The Story So Far (No Spoilers)

The Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix plot is built on a simple idea. Every incident around the Girls Remix team so far has been part of Sumire Kurono's plan to create the ultimate Kamen Rider. That plan now moves into its final phase.

Sumire kidnaps Nayuta Mikazuki, a character introduced in an earlier Girls Remix special. The team has to work out how to get her back. The film's tagline promises a girl who overcomes her sadness and awakens, and the title tells you which hero is coming.

This is the fourth and final entry in the series. Newcomers will probably feel a little lost, because the special assumes you know the earlier chapters. It was released on January 25, 2026, as a streaming special on TTFC rather than in theaters.

What Works in Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix

The biggest strength is focus. At 32 minutes, the special has no time for padding, so the kidnapping, the rescue attempt and the new hero all arrive quickly.

The premise also gives the villain real purpose. Sumire is not a random monster of the week. She is a mastermind whose long scheme ties earlier events together, which rewards viewers who followed the series.

• A fresh female lead: Letterboxd viewers describe Eins as a brand new original female Kamen Rider who carries the spirit of the original.

• Veteran direction: Sakamoto is an experienced name in the action-adventure side of the franchise.

• A tight team dynamic: Several Girls Remix riders return, so the rescue feels personal.

Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix Cast and Performances

The Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix cast is led by Amane Tensho as Nayuta Mikazuki, who becomes Kamen Rider Eins. Arisa Komiya plays Sumire Kurono, also known as Kamen Rider Fatale. She carries the antagonist role.

The Girls Remix side includes Reiyo Matsumoto as Rinne Kudo (Kamen Rider Majade), Angela Mei as Reika Shindai (Kamen Rider Sabela) and Hikari Kabashima as Hana Natsuki (Kamen Rider Aguilera). Hikaru Yamamoto appears as Akiko Narumi.

I found no professional reviews of individual performances, so judgments here are limited. The casting suits the premise, with a clear hero, a clear schemer and a supporting team that each hold their own rider identity. Fans of the franchise will find the ensemble easy to follow.

Where Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix Stumbles

The short runtime cuts both ways. A story about capture, surgery, transformation and rescue is a lot to fit into half an hour. Emotional beats may feel rushed.

The special also depends on prior knowledge. Nayuta first appeared in an earlier Girls Remix special, and Sumire's scheme only lands if you know what came before. Newcomers should expect to piece things together.

Another caveat is that it works partly as a lead-in. One Letterboxd viewer calls it a setup for a solo project for Eins. Some may find that it ends with more promise than payoff.

Is Kamen Rider Eins with Girls Remix Worth Watching?

Yes, if you already follow Girls Remix or enjoy Kamen Rider. It is a compact, well-aimed finale and an introduction to a new hero.

Public scores are small but friendly. IMDb shows 6.5/10 from 23 ratings, MyDramaList shows 7.1 from 42 users, and TMDB shows 9.0 from just 4 votes. These samples are tiny, so treat them as a mood rather than a verdict. You can check the IMDb page for current numbers.
