Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 (2025) Review: A Heartfelt Farewell for Super Sentai Fans

This Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 review looks at a farewell stage show built for devoted fans of the TV series. It is not a theatrical film but a live tour that later reached Blu-ray in Japan. If you love Super Sentai, it offers a warm, affectionate send-off.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 Review: The Story So Far (No Spoilers)

The tour played across Japan from March to May 2025 as a final goodbye for the cast. It is split into two parts: a scripted hero show and a talk show with the actors. The Gozyugers also appear, which adds a crossover feel to the celebration.

The plot of the first part is a completely original story, written by Atsuhiro Tomioka, the main writer of the TV series. I will not reveal how it plays out. What matters is that it is a fresh adventure rather than a recap of the TV episodes.

The second part shifts gears. It is a talk and character-song segment with the six leads, closer to a fan meeting than a drama.

What Works in Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025

The biggest strength is the writing pedigree. Having the series' own head writer pen the show gives the action story a familiar voice, so the characters sound like themselves. For a farewell, that continuity matters.

The two-part structure also keeps the evening balanced. You get the spectacle of a live hero show first, then a looser, more personal stretch with the cast. It suits an action and adventure crowd who want both thrills and heart.

• An original story from the TV series' main writer

• A mix of stage action and cast talk

• A guest appearance by the Gozyugers

• Character songs that celebrate the team

I could not confirm a director for this specific tour, so I will not credit anyone. If you enjoy hero stories like this, browse more Action movie reviews on our site.

Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 Cast and Performances

The Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 cast reunites the six core heroes. Haruhi Iuchi plays Taiya Hando / Bun Red, and Yuki Hayama plays Ishiro Meita / Bun Blue. Miu Suzuki appears as Mira Shifuto / Bun Pink.

Ryu Saito returns as Jyo Akuse / Bun Black, Satoru Soma as Genba Bureki / Bun Orange, and Yu Miyazawa as Sakito Homura / Bun Violet. Their chemistry is the heart of any farewell like this.

The talk segment is where the actors step out of their roles and speak as themselves. For fans, that is the emotional payoff. Because this is a stage show and not a conventional film, there is little formal critical commentary to lean on, so my judgment rests on what the format promises.

Where Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 Stumbles

The main limit is accessibility. This show assumes you know the TV series, its heroes and its running jokes. A newcomer would likely feel lost.

The format also works against casual viewing. A talk segment and character songs delight fans but may feel slow if you want a tight story. Availability is another hurdle, since the release is a Japanese Blu-ray listed at about 95 minutes.

There are no critic scores or consensus I could find, so there is little outside reaction to measure it against. Treat it as a fan-first product. For a more story-driven pick, try an Adventure movie review instead.
